BIO

As a cross-disciplinary artist trained in a range of mediums from performance to painting and drawing, I've always been interested in chasing down what medium best suits the ideas that I would like to share with my audience. Whether that be printmaking, painting, digital sculpting or book binding, for me it's about finding a material that best conveys the subject that I would like to explore.
A large part of what inspires me to produce work is the idea that my work will be able to help others look introspectively, to see how and where their own biases and prejudices lie. Whether that be through producing abstract prints or creating grotesque images, this work creates a space for people to challenge their understandings of beauty not just within the art world but also within themselves.
I'm personally a big believer in the idea that the viewer is as much the artist as the original creator. I think someone who loves and adores a work, spending hours looking, thinking, and conversing about a piece is adding not just to that works' value culturally, but giving the work life beyond what the original creator would have ever thought possible. As the viewer, you have an incredible power to give life to inanimate objects, you create conversations and include these objects into your worlds', embedding them into your own stories and experiences.
Thank you for all that you do for me
