ALCHEMY

A life is made up of many moments.
Due to an inherent inability to perceive the world from a point of view outside of our own, we struggle to separate ourselves from the moments, failing to see the whole picture at once.
These works explore how as our vision becomes clouded and the way in which we interpreted these moments becomes warped. Twisting this way and that, distorting the memories while others are misprinting never being allowed to be fully resolved. Perhaps the fog is caused by on ongoing ailment or has just blown in with the weather this sense of disconnection from one’s story often goes unresolved. Most of the time this fog lifts but for a select few the fog turns to a sludge filling their lung with an unspeakable poison, fossilising their stories as a twisted misunderstood beast.
